Do you ever feel judged or shamed when you express your authentic self? Let’s talk about how Neuroqueer Therapy can support you on your journey towards awareness, acceptance, and celebration of who you are.

What is Neuroqueer Therapy?

First, let’s define some terms.

Neuro-: Nerves; the inner workings of our physical body

To queer: To think differently about

Neuroqueer: To subvert societal expectations of how humans are presumed to think, feel, and behave; to think differently about the ways in which we allow ourselves to think, feel, and behave.

Neuroqueer Therapy: growth and change that stem from awareness of how your mind, body, and soul function that is free from judgement and expectation.

Neuroqueer Therapy is focused on recovering your authentic self and giving it permission to express itself openly. We will build awareness of the mask that tries to protect your authentic self from harm. We will find ways to move from surviving to thriving.

“Mind is inextricably entwined with brain, and brain with body; thus, mind is inextricably entwined with body…in a continuous dance of mutual shaping.”

Dr. Nick Walker, Neuroqueer Hereseis
